Cleantech Motors was founded in 2008 with the goal of developing electric cars that reduce negative environmental impact, are easy to maintain, and fun to drive. “Cost of ownership” is also a watchword here at Cleantech.

Within a year of its founding, Cleantech Motors has already established itself as an important player in the field of electric tranportation. By uniting state-of-the-art technologies from a range of European specialists, Cleantech Motors is currently developing prototypes that radically change the way we perceive battery-powered transportation.

System integrators
Cleantech Motors does not invent. Rather, we seek out the best possible technologies and combine these in dramatic new ways. Our ability to mix and match components – drive trains, power cells, tires, auxiliary components – lets us create transportation solutions that set new industry standards.

Maintaining a primary focus
For most automobile manufacturers, electric vehicles are still a sideline. Moreover, automobile manufacturers have an understandable loyalty to components developed in-house.
